How many movies can I check out?

A total of 10 DVDs from the Audio-Visual Department may be checked out on your account at one time. Two of these movies can be 2-Day loan titles. An additional 10 DVDs may also be checked out from the Youth Services Department.

How many CDs can I check out?

If you live in Highland Park or are a patron of a CCS member library, you are allowed to have a total of 50 items checked out on your account at one time, all of which may be CDs. Non-CCS, reciprocal borrowers may have a total of 25 items on their account.

What are the overdue fines?

A $1 per day overdue fine is assessed on all DVDs. There is a $.20 per day overdue fine on all adult music CDs.

How long can I keep CDs and DVDs?

New release feature films can be checked out for 2 days.

Older feature films can be checked out for 7 days.

TV and non-fiction DVDs & Blu-rays can be checked out for 14 days.

CDs can be checked out for 21 days.

Opera commentaries can be checked out for 7 days.
