Last Week of November 2012! - What You Need to Know
We hope you all had a restful and delicious holiday and got to spend quality time with family and friends - for us gerbils, we are both family AND friends!
Big news in our department this week - our winter program schedule is out - register now for two awesome science-y events!
Thanksgiving Week - What You Need to Know
We can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving already... hasn't this year just flown past? A lot of winter holiday lights and decorations are already up, technically we've had our first snow (though we gerbils stayed toasty warm inside during that cold night)... pretty soon it will be 2013!!
Stock up on library materials this week - the library will close at 1pm on Wednesday, November 21, and will be closed all day on Thursday, November 22 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We gerbils are planning a big feast and hope you are too!
Gutman-Scieszka-Kraatz!
What a busy past few weeks we've had! Lots of changes going on in the library with the Adult Services renovation - check out their new blog for remodeling news and updates.
What You Need to Know for the Week of October 29
Choooo chooooo!
Did you visit the Halloween Railroad this weekend? We gerbils LOVED it and wish our friendly librarian-keepers would have let us run around Spookytown with the trains ourselves... it's perfectly sized for the three of us. (Well, Merlin might have some trouble fitting in a few places... but you didn't hear that from Arthur or Lance.) Check our Facebook page for photos & video from Saturday's event.
