Individual Computer Instruction

Classes for Highland Park are free; please present proof of residency or library card. Non-resident fee is $20.00 per class.

Learn to use the Library's electronic resources at your own pace and comfort level. Make an appointment for a half-hour session with a Reference Librarian. These classes build on skills learned in previous sessions and are therefore meant to be completed in successive order. Please begin with the Basic Mouse Skills class if you have never used a computer before or are not comfortable using the mouse.

Other Classes in Computers and Technology are available through Universal Class. You will need to create an account first. in order to register for a class.

Computer Services

The library offers computers for the public in the adult and youth services departments. We also loan laptop computers for use throughout the Library.

Adult Services

16 Windows® stations are available for public use, 12 sit-down computers and 4 express.

4 laptops are available to check out and use within the library for Highland Park Library cardholders for 2 hours.

Internet, word processing, database, and combinations stations are available.
