The Friends are dedicated to supporting the Library and its cultural role in the community. Using funds collected through your membership donations, the Friends purchase needed equipment and materials, and sponsor lectures and special events for the community.

The Book Nook sells used books, videotapes, DVDs, CDs, and cassettes at very low prices. The store is operated by the Friends of the Highland Park Public Library, and proceeds benefit the Library.
