In Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury’s classic novel on censorship, a tyrannical government rules in a grim future where books are illegal and firemen are trained to burn them….until one fireman begins to question the government’s destructive ideology that knowledge is evil.
Published in 1953, Fahrenheit 451 was immediately recognized as a masterpiece of science fiction writing and continues to receive international acclaim.

Ray Bradbury: The Man Behind The Masterpiece

Sam Weller, authorized biographer of Ray Bradbury and author of The Bradbury Chronicles and Listen to the Echoes: the Ray Bradbury Interviews, discusses Mr.Bradbury and provides information on the unknown origins of Fahrenheit 451. Mr. Weller has been given unparalleled access to Bradbury's archives and to the author, and shares his insight. Mr. Weller's books will be for sale and he will sign copies following the event.

Science Fiction Story Contest
