Looking for Something to Do This Summer?

What is it?
Junior Page Volunteers are kids who like to help out in the Youth Services Department of the Highland Park Public Library. They shelve books, do odd jobs, help with summer reading and gain work experience.
Who can join?
All students entering 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grade.
When is it?
Session I:
Monday, June 4 through Saturday, June 30, 2012
Orientation Thursday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. or Saturday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m.
Session II:
Monday, July 2 through Saturday, July 28, 2012
Orientation Thursday, June 28 at 7:00 a.m. or Saturday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m.
You may work one hour a day.
How can I join?
Registration begins in person at the Youth Services Desk or by phone (847) 681-7030 on May 1.
Please note: We have room for only 20 volunteers in each session.
If more than 20 people sign up, volunteers will be chosen by lottery.
