Non-CCS RPSs may not place holds on any Highland Park Library material.
Non-CCS RBPs may have 2 New YS Audiobooks on their card at any given time.
Non-CCS RBPs may not check out New Adult Audiobooks.
Non-CCS RBPs may not check out MP3 Players or Kill-A-Watt meters
Non-CCSRBPs may have up to 25 items charged out at any given time.
Chicago Cardholders are limited to print materials only (Chicago is a Non-CCS RBP). They may have up to 25 items checked out at any given time.
Driver’s License with current address or State ID with current address: checkout is limited to 6 items.
Vacation Loans are for up to 6 weeks, limited to 10 items and are renewable. Vacation loans are for Old Books (28-Day) only. No other loan periods or formats are available for vacation loan.
Renewals: 28-Day items may be renewed2 times with the exception of MP3 Players, which are not renewable. All other checked out items may be renewed once (including vacation loans). The exceptions: no renewal on 2-Day DVDs (including Blu-ray) or Curriculum material.
Renewal period is for the same period as the initial checkout.
Items with Holds are not renewable. No item with a hold may be renewed.
Not reservable at all are: 2-Day items, Rental books, magazines.
Interlibrary loans limit: 5 items in the works; fine rate $0.20 per day, maximum of $10.00.
Reference materials do not circulate. Photocopies may be made, in compliance with copyright laws.
