Serving You Better: the New Catalog, Coming May 9th
Starting May 9th, we'll be introducing a new catalog, the result of HPPL joining CCS, a consortium of 23 local libraries. Joining CCS has a number of benefits:
1. A new and improved Library catalog, called Bibliocommons, with the ability to search across 24 area libraries, create item lists and bookshelves, share with your friends and family, write book reviews, and more.
2. Immediate access to the shared resources of all of the member libraries. You can place holds anywhere in the system and pick your materials up at any of the libraries.
3. Online payment of fines with the implementation of the E-Pay system.
4. Your Highland Park Public Library card will be immediately usable at any CCS member library without additional registration.
We are pleased to be able to offer these services to you. To facilitate our move to CCS, the Library will be closed on May 8. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but we hope to see you on May 9 at the "new and improved" Highland Park Public Library.
