Try out recipes from each meeting's cookbook selection, then discuss your experience on Zoom with fellow foodies.
On October 6, we're cookin' from The 100 Most Jewish Foods: A Highly Debatable List, edited by Alana Newhouse with Stephanie Butnick. This fun book attempts to identify not "today's most popular Jewish foods, or someone's idea of the tastiest, or even the most enduring," but rather "the foods that contain the deepest Jewish significance." Whether you're visiting your family favorites or exploring a food culture new to you, the recipes in the this book will have you heading toward the kitchen. Try one or more and join us to discuss!
The 100 Most Jewish Foods is available with no waiting on Hoopla.
Cookin’ with Books will start at 7:30PM CST every other Tuesday night.
Even if you haven't had time to cook, join us to discuss food!
This is an online event held via Zoom. Details on how to participate will be sent after registration.
