Color your world by exploring mandalas! The word "mandala" is the Sanskrit word for circle. Mandalas are often associated with Buddhist and Hindu practice, but they are found in cultures worldwide. Examples include Tibetan sand mandalas, Celtic knots, rose windows in churches, medicine wheels, dream catchers, labyrinths, and the yin/yang symbol.
Join Christine Thornton of Hello Art Studio and learn how to draw a colorful mandala (a radial design that grows out from a center point). Mandala drawing is an ancient, relaxing tradition that calms and encourages focus. And the results are beautiful! This online class includes an instructional video, and a chance to connect with the teacher and classmates on Facebook.
