 Interlibrary Loans

How It Works

Interlibrary loan is available to Highland Park cardholders when an item is not available in the library catalog.

Each cardholder is limited to 10 books or AV materials AND 5 articles pending or received at any one time.

ILLs may only be placed on items 6 months post-publication.

The library can not provide more than 5 requests for photocopies per calendar year from a periodical title (not issue) if those articles were published within the last 5 years according to section 108(g)(2) Copyright Guidelines.

All attempts will be made to obtain material for free. You will be notified if the lending library charges a fee. If you agree to the fee, the fee must be paid at time of pick up.
