    • This 1983 romantic dramedy stars Andrew McCarthy as Jonathan, a prep school student whose more experienced roommate, Skip, played by Robe Lowe, encourages him to engage more experienced members of the opposite sex. When he becomes romantically involved with a mature woman, played by Jacqueline Bisset, everyone is surprised when they find out who she actually is. Directed by Lewis John Carlino, the film also stars Cliff Robertson with debuts by John Cusack and Virginia Madsen.

    • A 1986 comedy about a high school teen played by Mathew Broderick, who skips school and spends the day in and around Chicago with his principal out to catch him. John Hughes both wrote, directed and co-produced the film which also stars Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jennifer Grey and Jeffrey Jones.

    • A 1990 coming of age Christmas comedy about 8 year old Kevin, who bullied by his older siblings, wants to get away from his family. While rushing to leave for their family vacation, they mistakenly leave Kevin behind. While home alone he realizes a couple of thieves have been looking to rob homes in his neighborhood. When he realizes his house is the target, Kevin is determined to protect his home and foil the bandits.

    • A 2005 black comedy based on the novel of the same name. Directed by Harold Ramis, it stars John Cusack as Charlie, a shady attorney for a mobster named Bill, played by Randy Quaid. With access to dirty money, Charlie and his pal Vic, played by Billy Bob Thorton, decide to leave town with the money on Christmas Eve but an ice storm delays their getaway. While detained, Charlie lets on about the money and trouble follows.

    • A 1986 romantic teen dramedy, stars Corey Haim, as Lucas a bright, socially inept teenager, who befriends Maggie, the new girl in town. While he has romantic feelings for her, she is attracted to his friend Cappie, played by Charlie Sheen, a football player who protects Lucas from bullies. To win her over, little Lucas goes out for the football team. Written and directed by David Seltzer, the film also stars Kerri Green, Winona Ryder and Courtney Thorne-Smith.

    • A 1980 drama based on the 1976 novel by the same name, depicts the dysfunction of a Lake Forest family, following the death of the older son and the attempted suicide of the younger son after a boating accident. Directed by Robert Redford, the film stars Mary Tyler Moore, Donald Sutherland, Timothy Hutton, Judd Hirsch and Elizabeth McGovern.

    • The 1992 romantic fantasy film based on the 1988 play of the same name, stars Alec Baldwin as conservative Peter Hoskins who falls immediately in love with free spirited Rita Boyle played by Meg Ryan. At their wedding, Julius, an elderly man, asks if he can kiss the bride and when he does somehow the two switch bodies. Peter searches for a way to switch them back but is faced with the prospect of living with his wife who looks like an old man or live with the man who is inside his wife's body. The film, directed and produced by Norman Rene, also stars Kathy Bates, Ned Beatty, Patty Duke and Sydney Walker.

    • A 1983 coming of age comedy about sex, stars Tom Cruise as a North Shore of Chicago teenager who looks for fun while his parents are out of town and gets himself into all sorts of trouble. Directed by Paul Brickman, it also stars Rebecca De Mornay.

    • A 1984 film starring Molly Ringwald as Samantha Baker, a high school sophomore whose upcoming Sweet Sixteen birthday is overshadowed by her older sister's upcoming wedding. Sam faces the trials, tribulations and embarrassments of adolescence in this coming of age comedy which was written and directed by John Hughes.

    • A 1985 science fiction teen comedy about two high school geeks who create their ideal woman on a computer. When lightening strikes she is brought to life and becomes more than they bargained for. Written and directed by John Hughes, the film stars Anthony Michael Hall, IIan Mitchell-Smith, Kelly LeBrock, Bill Paxton and Suzanne Snyder.
