For Your Safety and the Safety of Library Staff

Face coverings are required for everyone over the age of two.

Practice safe social distancing and maintain a 6-foot distance between people.

Enter and exit at the front entrance on Laurel Avenue.

Entry is limited to 40 visitors an hour.

Visitors may need to wait for others to exit before entering.

Please limit your visit to under 60 minutes.

Return materials at the drive-through drop boxes.

Pick up requested items through the Grab & Go service located inside the lower level vestibule 

To avoid entering any part of the library, call 847-432-0216 to ask that requested materials be brought to your vehicle.   

Public areas will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Returned materials will be isolated for several days.

Please stay home if you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms.

Computer use is limited.

Seating is limited.

Drinking fountains and coffee makers are unavailable.

Book and media donations are not accepted.

Study rooms are unavailable.

The Digital Media Lab is unavailable.

Newspapers are unavailable.

No toys, games, puzzles, or coloring stations are available or allowed.

Access to areas including the Brenner Room and Lower Level is restricted.

To maintain a safe environment, other areas of the Library may be restricted.

Library staff is available to retrieve items from restricted areas.
