Discover what makes a home a Chicago home when Carla Bruni discusses her book "Chicago Homes" a definitive, illustrated guide to the housing types and styles that have shaped Chicago.

A city famous for its architecture now has a definitive, illustrated guide to the housing types and styles that have shaped Chicago from its earliest days through WWII. Ever wondered what makes a “greystone” a greystone, or why we have wooden back porches? Author and SAIC professor Carla Bruni will discuss what makes a home a Chicago home.

Books will be for sale and the event will conclude with a book signing.
