This class is designed for beginners. Students will develop the basic skills needed to use the Microsoft Office Excel program.
Students will learn how to create a spreadsheet from scratch, format and edit data, and perform some basic formulas and pivot tables. Whether you are unemployed, underemployed, or are simply interested in learning a new skill, check it out and sign up!
Requirements: All students must have access to MS Excel as it is a very hands-on tool where effective learning happens by doing and trial/error. You must be 18 years old or older to register for this class. Advance registration is required through the library website or call 847-432-0216. Class will be filled on a first come first served basis. All students must be familiar with how to use Zoom. It is recommended that Zoom is used on a PC, rather than a tablet or phone to ensure best quality.
Payment: You are not officially registered until you have paid for the class. Once registration is complete, you will receive an email from library staff with a link to pay for the class. All payments must be made online with a credit card. Zoom login information will be provided once payment is made. No cash payments. No refunds.
