A Book For You: Parent Workshop

Talking to Your Kids about Traumatic Events

Join us for a workshop on how to talk to your children after traumatic events.

This timely and informative session will be led by therapists from Catholic Charities and will feature the book, Once I was Very Very Scared by Chandra Ghosh Ippen. Families will receive a copy of the book and a bookmark of additional resources.The workshop will take place in the lower level Meeting Room and is intended for adults only. Members of the Youth Services staff will provide fun activities for children (ages 5 and up) in the Activity Room during the workshop. Refreshments will be provided for all after the workshop concludes. Registration required.
