People have different avenues for expressing their thoughts and emotions. Many find a visual component, in addition to writing, is helpful when dealing with strong emotions.
Join facilitators from Open Studio Project to explore art for self-awareness, expression, and clarity. The art component may be collage, sketching, cray pas, paint or other media. No experience necessary. All art supplies will be provided.
Open Studio Project's mission is to bring art directly to individuals for personal growth, social-emotional learning, and community well-being. Open Studio Project's facilitators are trained in social-emotional competencies, group facilitation, mental health first aid, and several are credentialed art therapists.
