Called an "electrifying rising star" by "The New York Times," Jahari Stampley will perform at the Library.

Jahari Stampley, the 2023 Herbie Hancock Institute for Jazz International Piano Competition winner, performs. Called an "electrifying rising star" by The New York Times, Stampley will perform with his mother, D-Erania, a Grammy-nominated saxophonist and bassist.

Jahari Stampley was named one of the Chicagoans of the Year in the Arts for 2023 by the Chicago Tribune.

Funded by a grant from the Highland Park Community Foundation.
