An elaborate, arranged marriage between a young woman in India and an Indian man who lives in Texas is to take place in New Delhi during the start of the monsoon season.  Family coming from far and wide provides drama, music and dance in this Golden Globe nominated 2001 film, directed by Mira Nair.
