Join us at the library for a self-defense class!
This workshop will cover several basic strikes and escape techniques, along with an understanding of the concepts that make them effective for use in self defense. Attendees will be able to present “what if” scenarios that concern them and learn how to defend or escape. Topics may include discussion on situational awareness, maintaining control when feeling vulnerable, reaction vs. response when a threat is present, and the safety trap that we experience when we are in our comfort zones. Adults of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate.
All attendees must sign the electronic waiver in order to participate. Please complete the electronic waiver in advance of the event.
