Ensure that your child's car seat is safely installed with our free on premises safety check.  Parents can also obtain a complementary child ID card.  Parents can have peace of mind knowing that you have vital information about your child at your fingertips. It's fast. It's free. And it can provide an extra level of safety. Patrons seeking a car seat safety check will be directed to the underground parking spaces for the safety check.  Child Identification cards may be secured inside the library in the Children's area Activity room.  Child must be present for child identification card services.  Services are provided through the generous efforts of the Illinois State Police.
