Ochin Pakhi is a Chicago-based Bengali folk band that performs traditional music from India and Bangladesh, including songs from the Baul-Fakir tradition of mystic minstrels.
Join us for an afternoon full of fun and vibrant sounds with the Ochin Pakhi Ensemble, a Chicago-based Bengali folk band that masterfully weaves together the musical traditions of India and Bangladesh. Featuring traditional instruments like the dotara, khomok, and bansuri, the band captivates audiences with ecstatic, soaring vocals and joyfully shares the depth, poetry, and wisdom found in Bengali musical traditions.
