Award-winning author Rebecca Makkai discusses her new book which was named a "most anticipated book of 2023" by more than 30 outlets.

Award-winning author Rebecca Makkai's new book is a transfixing mystery. Set in the woods of New Hampshire, the novel follows a film professor and podcaster forced to reckon with her past and reexamine the murder of her high school classmate.  A page-turner and a profound and deeply felt novel that interrogates our cultural obsession with true crime and violence against women. 

Makkai's last novel, The Great Believers, was a finalist for both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award.

Books will be for sale with the Book Bin and the event will conclude with a book signing.
