In A Wedding Banquet, a man in New York City decides that a marriage of convenience is the perfect way to keep his parents in Taiwan from discovering that he is gay.  However, his parents insist on coming to the wedding in person. Academy Award Winner Ang Lee cowrote, directed and produced this 1993 romantic comedy.
