Join us for a program full of unique and creative arrangements that span from the 60's to the present. The melodies you love will take on a new life, inviting you to dance to a different beat.

Be part of a captivating musical journey of unique and creative arrangements traversing from the iconic 60’s to the vibrant present. Jazz from Planet Flippo will perform stimulating versions of recognizable melodies transformed into thrilling new renditions with surprising new chords, a new groove or tempo, a different meter, or a wild new bass line. This music includes arrangements by Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, Lenon/McCartney, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Amy Winehouse, Sound Garden and more. 

Jazz from Planet Flippo has been an audience favorite for the past 30 years and has performed in numerous venues all over the area, including twenty different libraries. They draw musical styles from around the globe as well as contemporary gems and challenge both the mind and the ear of listeners to notice and understand the many tweaks and reinventions that have been done with the familiar songs they grew up with.
