Chicago Cossacks are an exciting international folk music and dance ensemble. The group performs traditional Eastern European music using instruments including sopilka, domra, and accordion.
Join us for a delightful afternoon of international folk music and dance with Chicago Cossacks, Chicago’s premier Ukrainian folk ensemble. Since 1993, Chicago Cossacks has performed at festivals, cultural centers, and private parties, entertaining people throughout the greater Chicago area. The group performs with traditional Eastern European dancers and features Ukrainian instruments including a wooden flute known as a sopilka, a mandolin known as a domra, and accordion.
