The film explores their remarkable 50-year relationship. Caro is working to complete the final volume of his masterwork, The Years of Lyndon Johnson; Gottlieb waits to edit it. A unique double portrait of two intellectuals at the culmination of a journey that has consumed both their lives and impacted generations of politicians, activists, writers, and readers. A Q&A session with Lizzie Gottlieb follows the screening of the film.
