This event is full, but we've added another session at 8 pm! Register for the 8 pm session below.

We’re announcing our favorite books of the year – 30 of them to be exact! Library staff will share 30 of their favorite titles of 2025 in 30 minutes. Pick up ideas for what to read next and enjoy our book and hot chocolate bar. Customize a cup of hot chocolate and pick up a book to take home. A lucky winner will also take home a gift basket from one of Highland Park’s indie bookstores! Make a button on the way out professing your love of books.

With a special appearance by Rachel Kamin, director of lifelong learning and librarian at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El.
